Environmental Art is a way of using our already beautiful natural world to create unique art. Through exercises in the outdoors students find ways to assemble, stack, mix, gather and otherwise create sculptures to catch your eye. This blog is meant for reflection and inspiration!
After going to the Pemi, I had a much easier time finding the right rocks to build a tower. i learned that some rocks by the river have had erosion play a large role in how the rock was shaped.
I thought it was really fun to get a change of scenery and be forced to use rocks which I hadn't used yet; it pushed me outside my comfort zone. I enjoyed it a lot though!!
